What is RSB gasket?
RSB gasket, also known as flexible graphite composite gasket, also called reinforced graphite gasket or high-strength graphite gasket. This gasket is usually stamped or cut from reinforced graphite plate by professional gasket cutting equipment. It has good corrosion resistance, high/low temperature resistance, good compression resilience and high strength.
The commonly used inner layer reinforcement materials for RSB gaskets are ss304, ss316 or tinplate, etc., with a thickness of 0.1~0.127mm, and the forms are sprint plate reinforcement, mesh plate reinforcement, and flat plate reinforcement. The commonly used material is 304 reinforced graphite, which can be made into various circular geometric gaskets and is widely used in pipes, valves, pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, condensers, generators, air compressors, exhaust pipes, refrigerators, etc.
RSB gaskets can also be cut into gaskets with complex shapes, such as water level gauge gaskets, punched flange gaskets and cylinder gaskets for automotive diesel engines.
RSB gaskets can be processed into the following forms according to usage requirements: (1) Basic graphite composite gaskets (2) Graphite composite gaskets with inner edges (3) Graphite composite gaskets with outer edges (4) Graphite composite gaskets with inner and outer edges. The graphite composite gasket with edge wrapping not only maintains the excellent performance of the original gasket, but also facilitates installation and disassembly, is not easy to damage, and can also prevent the medium from eroding the gasket, thereby improving the pressure resistance. Commonly used edge wrapping materials are 304 or 316 stainless steel.
The maximum processing size of RSB gaskets: 20~5000mm; special specifications or various non-standard products can be made according to customer requirements.
