When butt welding flange is welded, the reserved welding quantity of steel pipe and flange is t+1mm to ensure the uniformity of weld foot height. When assembling, it should be noted that the deviation between the flange surface and the axial perpendicularity of the steel tube should not exceed 2 mm. The gap between the outer diameter of the pipeline and the inner diameter of the flange shall not exceed 2 mm, and the sum of the clearances in the direction of the diameter shall not exceed 3 mm. After adjusting the process, spot welding is carried out. Four symmetrical spot welding is usually used for fixing. For pipes less than 32 mm in diameter, the three spot welds can be divided equally. Large caliber pipelines are usually welded by fixed spot welding at 6-8 points, which distributes evenly.
After assembly, the pipe enters the butt welding process with the flange. Flange joints are usually welded on both sides of the pipeline, usually by manual welding or carbon dioxide gas shielded welding. When the diameter of pipeline is less than 22mm, the internal weld is welded by argon arc welding to prevent the solder blocking the pipeline.
