Introduction of orifice flanges

Orifice flanges are widely used in orifice meters to measure the flow rate of liquids and gases in the respective pipeline.Two orifice flanges are called orifice flange union.Each flange has a pipe tap for measuring the pressure drop of the flow through the orifice plate.This makes the separate orifice plate carrier or tapping on the pipe wall unnecessary.The orifice plate is not installed with the flange, and its size is determined according to the process requirements.One/two jack screws are used to separate the flange for replacing the orifice plate.

ANSI/ASME B16.36 orifice flange

A set orifice flanges,where a plate is mounted and a jack screw is machined.This jack screw is used to facilitate separating the flanges for inspection or replacement of the orifice plate and gaskets.
