The standout component of this shipment is the 36 inch, Class 600 A694 F65 blind flange manufactured to ASME B16.47A. This A694 F65 blind flange undergoes heat treatment to secure consistent mechanical properties, with low-temperature impact test requirement of minimum 33J at -29°C. UT and PT non-destructive tests are fully carried out to identify surface and subsurface flaws, ensuring reliability during long-term pipeline isolation service.
Alongside the large blind flange, the order also includes small-bore ASME B16.5 flanges made from ASTM A105N. The range covers 2” Class 300 RF blind flange, plus 2” Class 300 and Class 600 weld neck flanges with SCH80 wall specification. These A105N flanges also receive heat treatment and pass -29°C Charpy impact of 33J minimum. All flanges are painted as specified before packaging. Every A694 F65 blind flange and A105N weld neck flange comes with complete material test records and NDE reports for client review and site acceptance.
