Haihao Group Delivers MESC-Compliant Line Blinds & Low-Temp Flanges to Russian Upstream Project
Pipeline isolation and connection hardware for Russian upstream oil and gas facilities must clear strict benchmarks for low-temperature toughness, sour service durability and alignment with local MESC and DEP engineering standards. Haihao Group has wrapped up fabrication and shipment of a custom package of line blinds and carbon steel flanges for a Russian field development project, headlined by A516 Gr60 spectacle blind units alongside A350 LF2 flanges and A285 spade blinds.

The A516 Gr60 spectacle blind sits at the centre of this order, purpose-built for combined sour and low-temperature pipeline service. Rated Class 150 at DN50 with a flat face, each unit is manufactured to ASME B16.48 and dimensionally matched to DEP standard drawings S-38.011-001/002. Every A516 Gr60 spectacle blind is held to MESC SPE 76/220 and 76/012 requirements, with carbon content capped at 0.23%. Qualified -46°C Charpy impact, HIC and SSC testing confirm compliance with NACE MR0175, making the A516 Gr60 spectacle blind a fit for critical sour hydrocarbon production lines.
To cover flange connection needs across the project, the shipment also includes a full suite of A350 LF2 Class1 low-temperature carbon steel flanges built to ASME B16.5. The range takes in reduced-bore slip-on flanges in DN100 and DN150, weld neck flanges spanning DN50 up to DN500 in Class 150, Class 300 and Class 900 pressure ratings, plus custom blind flanges with centre-drilled NPT tapped holes for instrument and bleed connections. All A350 LF2 components are controlled to 0.23% max carbon and 0.43 max carbon equivalent, with -46°C impact validation and magnetic particle inspection to guarantee consistent low-temperature performance.
For general-purpose line isolation points, the order also includes an ASTM A285 Grade C spade blind. Rated Class 150 at DN100 with a flat face, it follows ASME B16.48 and DEP S-38.042 standard drawings, with full compliance to MESC SPE 76/012 specifications. The carbon steel spade delivers balanced tensile strength and cost efficiency for non-critical isolation sections of the pipeline network.
Every component ships with a complete documentation package tailored for Russian project acceptance and customs clearance. This includes EN 10204 3.1 / ISO 10474 3.1B material test certificates, vendor declaration of compliance, NACE compliance documentation and CU TR certification where applicable. Our QA team validates all items against MESC SPE criteria and DEP drawing dimensions prior to packing.
