What is HPG gasket?

It can be found from the product pictures in the previous article that there are two sets of insulation kits with different colors, one is black and the other is light green. In fact, there are also two types of insulation gaskets, HPG for black and LPG for light green.

HPG is a high-performance flange insulation system, specially designed for flange sealing and insulation, including high concentration CO2 corrosive environment, H2S and corrosive medium. Suitable for high pressure conditions, the HPG sealing system is fixed in the composite material reinforced by a metal core by a spring reinforced PTFE seal or an elastic O-ring. It can be seen from the product description in previous one article that the metal core required by the client is 316 stainless steel bonded with epoxy resin G10, and the epoxy resin can also be G11. Stainless steel 316 is a standard core material. In addition, such as super duplex stainless steel, and special alloy materials like Inconel and hastalloy, can also be provided according to client requirements. HPG can be applied to very harsh working conditions, such as vibration, temperature and pressure fluctuations. It is a cathodic protection system that can provide safe sealing and excellent electrical insulation performance in harsh environments.
