According to the report, the accident occurred on the ro-ro ship F, a fuel hose problem caused the fire, the sub-engine room equipment was severely damaged.The wiring under the turbocharger covered by the hose insulation pad was found to be at risk of exposure to high temperatures and difficult to inspect. Moreover, the ship’s auxiliary aircraft alarm system had been modified without the approval of the classification Society.
