Haihao Group Supplies Carbon Steel and Alloy Steel Flanges to Pakistan
Haihao Group recently completed the delivery of a large batch of ASME B16.5 flanges for a customer in Pakistan. The order included weld neck flanges and socket weld flanges in multiple pressure classes, pipe schedules, and materials, meeting the demanding requirements of industrial piping systems.
All flanges were manufactured strictly in accordance with ASME B16.5, with bore dimensions matched precisely to pipe schedules as specified in the project documentation.
Flange Types and Pressure Classes
This shipment covered a wide range of flange configurations, including:
- Weld Neck (WN) flanges
- Socket Weld (SW) flanges
- Raised Face (RF) flanges
- Ring Type Joint (RTJ) flanges
Pressure ratings ranged from Class 150 up to Class 1500, making the flanges suitable for both standard service and high-pressure applications.

Materials Supplied
To meet different operating conditions, Haihao Group supplied flanges in several commonly specified materials:
- ASTM A105N – carbon steel for high-pressure socket weld flanges
- ASTM A350 LF2 CL1 – low-temperature carbon steel with black paint coating
- ASTM A182 F316L (dual certified 316/316L) – corrosion-resistant stainless steel
- ASTM A182 F51 (UNS S31803 / 2205 duplex stainless steel) – high strength and corrosion resistance, NACE compliant
Selected carbon steel flanges were supplied with black paint coating, while stainless and duplex flanges were delivered without coating as specified.
Sizes and Pipe Schedules
The flanges covered a broad size range from 3/4″ up to 24″ NPS, with pipe schedules including:
- STD / XS
- SCH 10S / SCH 40S / SCH 80S / SCH 160
This ensured compatibility with different piping thicknesses and system designs.
Quality Control and Special Requirements
For this project, Haihao Group ensured:
- Bore dimensions matched the corresponding pipe schedule
- Heat treatment applied where required
- RF and RTJ sealing surfaces machined to specification
- Compliance with project and export packing requirements
