What’s the standard system of flange?

For Flanges, there are many standards. For different countries, they may follow different standards.

There are mainly two systems of pipe flange standards in the world, namely, the European pipe flange system represented by DIN (including the former Soviet Union) in Germany and the American pipe flange system represented by ANSI in the United States. In addition, there are JIS pipe flanges in Japan, but they are generally only used for public works in petrochemical plants, and have little influence in the world. The pipe flanges of various countries are introduced as follows:
- European system pipe flange represented by Germany and the former Soviet Union
- American system pipe flange standard, represented by ANSI B16.5 and ANSI B 16.47.
- British and French pipe flange standards, each of which has two casing flange standards.

To sum up, the internationally accepted pipe flange standards can be summarized as two different and non interchangeable pipe flange systems: one is the European pipe flange system represented by Germany, and the other is the American pipe flange system represented by the United States.
Ios7005-1 is a standard issued by the international organization for Standardization in 1992. This standard is actually a pipe flange standard which combines two series of pipe flanges from the United States and Germany.
