Haihao Group’s wind power flanges help China’s new offshore wind power projects
As a leader in pipeline systems, Haihao Group plays a key role in promoting new offshore wind energy projects in China. The recently launched Shenergy Hainan CZ2 and China Datang CZ3 offshore wind power projects, with a total investment of approximately RMB 29.6 billion, mark an important step towards the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the promotion of a “clean energy island”.
These two offshore wind power projects are located in the northwest waters of Danzhou City, Hainan Province, with a total planned area of 383 square kilometers. The total installed capacity is 2.4 million kilowatts, including the construction of four 220 kV offshore booster stations and two onshore centralized control centers. It is worth noting that these two projects are the first offshore wind power projects in China to achieve full life cycle intelligent management and ensure “zero carbon” emissions from onshore centralized control centers and offshore booster stations.
Once completed, these two projects will provide Hainan Province with 7.46 billion kilowatt hours of clean electricity every year. This will help adjust the province’s power grid structure and industrial structure, and promote the region to take the lead in decarbonizing the power system.
