Haihao Group Ships ASME B16.5 A105N Weld Neck Flanges and Spectacle Blinds to Singapore

Haihao Group has completed a flange shipment for a Singapore customer, covering SA/A105N weld neck flanges, RF blind flanges and ASME B16.48 spectacle blinds in NPS 3/4″ to 10″.

Although most of the order consists of small-bore forged flanges, the specification is far from uniform. The shipment combines Class 150, Class 300 and Class 600 products, with WN flanges ranging from STD to S160 and XS (S80). Two Class 600 WN flanges and one Class 600 blind flange were additionally specified for sour service.

The order also includes 1″ and 1-1/2″ Class 600 Figure-8 spectacle blinds in SA/A516 Gr.70, designed for installation between RF flanges in accordance with ASME B16.5.

Singapore Flange Order at a Glance

The shipment contains a total of 27 flange and line-blind specifications, with the majority manufactured from SA/A105N carbon steel.

RF Facing Kept Consistent Across the Order

Raised Face is specified throughout the flange and spectacle blind items in this order.

For the WN and blind flanges manufactured to ASME B16.5, the RF facing needs to match the mating flange arrangement. The spectacle blind specification likewise identifies RF and states that it is intended to sit between RF flanges.

This consistency matters during procurement because a line blind may be technically correct in size and pressure class but still require a different facing configuration for the actual piping assembly.

The Singapore order therefore gives clear information on size + Class + RF + material + standard, rather than leaving the facing type open to interpretation.

From 3/4″ to 10″: One Shipment, Multiple Flange Configurations

The shipment covers a surprisingly wide specification range despite being concentrated in relatively small and medium nominal sizes.

The smallest items are 3/4″ RF blind and WN flanges, while the largest is the 10″ Class 150 WN RF flange.

Between these are 1″, 1-1/2″, 2″ and 8″ products, with different pressure classes and schedules.

The 8″ and 10″ WN flanges are specified as S20, while the smaller WN products use XS (S80), STD or S160 depending on the line requirement.

This Singapore order has now been completed with a mixed range of ASME B16.5 A105N weld neck flanges, blind flanges and ASME B16.48 spectacle blinds.

The shipment combines standard-service and sour-service products, Class 150/300/600 ratings, several pipe schedules and two different carbon steel material specifications.

For Haihao Group, the focus was not simply on producing the individual flange. It was on keeping each combination of size, class, schedule, material, facing, standard and service condition correctly identified from the purchase order through final shipment.
