Product Specification Summary

This ASME B16.48 spectacle blind set includes a small-bore 3/4 inch Class 150 flat face unit made from ASTM A240 316/316L stainless steel. It is machined to a 6 mm plate thickness, with a smooth R1 radius blended at both outer perimeter and bore edge near the sealing zone. The connecting handle is fully welded rather than loosely fitted, and the whole assembly goes through PT inspection to verify weld integrity before release. This fine edge radius reduces gasket damage risk each time the spectacle blind is rotated between open and closed positions.

The second ASME B16.48 spectacle blind is an 8 inch Class 150 raised face design, produced from ASTM A516 Gr.70 carbon steel against the client’s drawing. Its sealing edges carry a larger R1.5 radius transition, again paired with a fully secured welded handle and full PT examination. The RF style matches standard raised face flanges widely used across Singapore refinery and utility piping layouts, giving site crews a reliable isolation point for routine shutdown and maintenance work.
